Christian Eriksen’s deflected shot Mauricio Pochettino’s side looked like they would have to settle for a point after
Mauro Icardi’s stunning volleyed equaliser on 86 minutes.

But even that proved beyond them as
Internazionale, on their return to the
Champions League, pressed relentlessly late on and were rewarded when
Matias Vecino headed beyond Michel Vorm after Spurs had failed to properly clear a corner in the third minute of injury time.
