Donald Trump took a moment to show off his impressive million dollar limousine to
Kim Jong-un during the historic summit between the US and
North Korea.
The US President Donald Trump gave North Korea's Kim Jong-un a rare peek inside the car during a stroll through the grounds of the
Singapore resort where their summit was taking place.
The footage shows the two leaders approaching the American flag-covered car, and President Trump giving Kim Jong-un a peek inside before return to the hotel.
The Limousine, known as the Beast is designed to survive a military-style or chemical warfare attack.
Trump and Kim met at a luxury hotel in Singapore's Sentosa island after months of diplomatic tensions.
The leaders held a one-to-one meeting, with translators, before a working lunch.
New photographs of the agreement signed by both leaders, who have now left Sentosa, reveal Kim "reaffirmed his unwavering commitment" to denuclearisation.
The document reads: “President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new US-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
“President Trump committed to providing security guarantees to the DPRK and Chairman Kim Jong-un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.”
The document is broken down into four key points, saying: “1. The
United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
“2.The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.”
“3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to working towards the complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.
“4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains including the immediate repatriation of those already identified."
North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un said: “We overcame all the odds to come here.”
The historic summit between President Trump and Kim Jong-un was the first between sitting US and North Korean leaders.
