Bringing the entertainment and the sunshine (hopefully), Garden House is THE Cambridge location this summer. The venue hopes to be an idyllic spot for al fresco dining, and the menu has been designed to delight guests with a selection of seasonal snacks, starters and large plates from the BBQ, great for sharing with
Friends on a sunny afternoon. Garden Bar, at the heart of the hotel, will offer a menu of summery spritzes, or classic cocktails to be enjoyed in the sunshine, or indoors on those milder evenings. On Friday nights, drinks will be accompanied by
music from the bar’s resident DJ. From grilled tiger prawns with lime tartar sauce, to chargrilled burgers to loaded hotdogs, the menu comprises fresh takes on BBQ favourites, including great vegan and vegetarian options. Limited tables will be bookable each weekend, however, guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab the best spot. For something a little sweeter, Garden House will be also offering an Al Fresco Afternoon Tea experience, served in the riverside garden. From £29.50pp, the menu offers a selection of delectable sandwiches and sweet treats such as fruit cheesecake and Cambridge burnt cream tart alongside traditional teas by Canton Teas. For £39.50pp, Garden House’s afternoon tea will arrive complete with a glass of Coates & Seely English sparkling wine. Live music and other summer events will be announced soon.
