Android Businesses representing Lanarkshire met with many of the 252 global tour operators, travel agents and destination management companies attending from 23 countries including the UK,
USA, Europe,
Canada and Asia Pacific. Lanarkshire featured on a fam trip entitled ‘Wandering in Nature; with a stop at New Lanark UNESCO World Heritage Site and Mill Hotel. UK and the world by showcasing this wonderful region to a global audience. The feedback we have received from both buyers and suppliers is how much they appreciated the chance to meet and do business in person once again. “VisitScotland supports the tourism industry in its aspirations to internationalise and to continue to attract more business and revenue from international markets. The event reflected our focus on responsible tourism, highlighting businesses with sustainable and inclusive practices. “Partnership and collaboration is at the heart of Scottish tourism and VisitScotland delivers events such as these with the support of many Scottish businesses and organisations.
