police has been jailed. Jaden Ryan was arrested in February after phone evidence linked him to running the Uno drugs line across East Cambridgeshire. The 30-year-old, of Loddiges Road, South Hackney, attempted to hide his stash in his mouth. But when officers put him into the back of a police van, they spotted what he was doing and seized the drugs as evidence. Detective Sergeant Luke Pedlar said: “Our Intelligence and Specialist Crime team worked alongside neighbourhood officers to catch Ryan, who was dealing heroin and crack cocaine across Ely and Littleport. Just before Ryan was arrested he hid 55 wraps of drugs in his mouth, putting his own life in danger to prevent prosecution. READ MORE: Ely paedophile sent indecent images to young child and said "I’ll show you mine if you show me yours" “Drug dealing will not be tolerated across Cambridgeshire and we will continue to target anyone involved.” Ryan was sentenced at Huntingdon Crown Court on Friday, May 5 after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
