All the upcoming changes to Stagecoach bus services in North East Lincolnshire

Changes to bus timetables in North East Lincolnshire will come into effect this month. As part of the £4.7m Bus Service Improvement Plan funded by the Department for Transport, the amendments to timetables are being introduced in a bid to improve accessibility in the borough and provide more direct bus links. The changes also aim to make bus travel a "more attractive" mode of transport for residents as well as providing better access to local schools and colleges. Read more: Man, 19, arrested after car smashes into house in Barrow-upon-Humber The alterations to the Stagecoach bus services in North East Lincolnshire - which will take effect from Sunday, May 7 - are as follows: 3 and 4 services A new service will run on a Sunday evening at 6.45pm between Grimsby town centre and Morrisons. 5 service This service will continue to run every 30 minutes. New Sunday services will go via Ladysmith Road to Tesco at Hewitts Circus. 6 service The 6 service will run between Wybers Wood and Cleethorpes Pier every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday, via Ladysmith Road and Clee Road. A Stagecoach bus in Grimsby town centre (Image: LDR (Local Democracy Reporter)) 7 service The 7 service from Grimsby town centre to Curzon Avenue/Warwick Road via Hainton Avenue and Weelsby Road will run hourly between 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. 8 service The 8 service will include a new extension to Westward Ho to provide improved connections to Franklin College. The service will also run along Kings Road and Cleethorpes seafront terminating at Cleethorpes Pier. 9/10 service The 9/10 service will run every 15 minutes and will include an extended route to Tesco Hewitt’s Circus. 12 service The 12 service will operate every half an hour between Grimsby town centre and Bradley Park. There will also be an hourly service between Grimsby town centre and New Waltham. 51 service The 51 service will maintain its hourly service between Grimsby and Louth with some minor changes to the timetable. 250 service The 250 service will no longer run to Cleethorpes and will terminate at Grimsby town centre. Passengers wishing to travel along Hainton Avenue and Clee Road should use the new 6 or 7 services. A public engagement event will be held by North East Lincolnshire Council, Equans and Stagecoach East Midlands on Wednesday, May 10 from 10am to 2pm at the Bull Ring in Grimsby town centre.
