
A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a car crashed into the front door of a house in Barrow-upon-Humber and the driver fled the scene. Officers from Humberside
police were called to the single-vehicle collision on Beck Lane at around 9.40pm on Thursday, April 27. The car remained at the scene - but the driver was nowhere to be found. He has since been released on bail. A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "A man has been arrested following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Barrow-upon-Humber on Thursday 27 April. "Officers were called at around 9.40pm to reports that a car was in collision with a property on Beck Lane in Barrow-upon-Humber. The driver of the vehicle is believed to have fled the scene. "Following police enquiries, a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving when over the prescribed limit, driving a vehicle dangerously, failing to stop, and driving without insurance. "He has since been released on conditional bail whilst our enquiries continue.
