The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said at the time they would be making a decision on attending at a later date. Their spokesman said: "I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation." Planning for the extravaganza on May 6 - the same day Meghan and Harry's son Archie turns four - is now in its final stages. According to The Times , if both Harry and Meghan accepted the invitation, they would not take part in the procession out of the Abbey and back to Buckingham Palace with some of the other members of the Firm as it is being limited to working royals only. At the start of the year, whilst promoting his memoir Spare, Harry was asked about a his potential attendance at the Coronation. He responded cryptically: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then. But, you know, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. "There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they can - that they are willing to sit down and talk about it, because there's a lot that's happened in six years. And prior to that as well."
