The Detroit Tigers' opening weekend isn't the only attraction in town this weekend. There are antique car tours along the Detroit River, a strange and colorful festival in Ann Arbor, holiday fun at the Detroit Zoo,
comedy and more. Here are a few things to do across the region for the weekend of April 7. Antique Car Tours along riverfront Antique Touring Company is rolling out a three-hour hop-on-hop-off tour of Detroit’s Riverfront between Hart Plaza and Mt. Elliot Park in a 1929 Ford Model A Station Wagon. Tour guides will share highlights of Detroit’s riverfront history, information about attractions and establishments along the river and baseball’s current events. The Riverfront Loop’s tour schedule will coincide with the Detroit Tigers' home games throughout the season, operating before evening games and after early afternoon games.
