comedy specials of the year on Netflix. Known and loved for The Office, Extras and After Life, Ricky Gervais has announced he is coming to Birmingham as part of his Armageddon tour. The award-winning comedian ,
Actor, writer and director has already visited some of the biggest venues across the
UK and has today shared a Birmingham date. Gervais’s 2021 tour SuperNature was a huge success and was said to have become one of the most watched comedy specials of the year on Netflix, when it aired in May 2022.
Netflix have already bought the rights to Armageddon , which will stream as Ricky’s next Netflix special in early 2024. He is currently taking Armageddon around the world throughout this year and into 2024. He will be coming to Utilita Arena Birmingham on Monday September 4. He has written, directed, produced and starred in ‘Cemetery Junction’, ‘The Invention of Lying’, and starred in ‘Ghost Town.’ In 2010, Gervais was named in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World and awarded the Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award from the Banff World Television Festival.
