Afghanistan women’s national
Football team, has expressed her disappointment at senior
MILITARY and political leaders for their handling of the evacuation from Afghanistan.
Carter, who served two tours in
Iraq, said: “I would really like to see some senior military and political leadership step up. I’m incredibly disappointed with the information that’s coming out of the
Pentagon because it’s just not good enough. On behalf of my players and on behalf of military personnel there working their butts off to pull this off I’m also incredibly frustrated and I don’t know how much longer what’s happening is maintainable.
