Beyond noir: Nordic content of all shades is on its way to Netflix
If pushed, the average British viewer might associate Swedish drama with Wallander and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, perhaps along with a few other hits that are actually from Denmark.
In 2021, that roster looks set to expand beyond the realm of misremembered Nordic noir with a range of new shows on their way to Netflix – and a palette that ranges from sexy royals to a melodrama set in a drag club.
