News Corp Australia has made another round of job cuts, losing 25 editorial staff at the end of a brutal year for the media that has seen Murdoch outlets alone shed 200 journalists and photographers.
Sources told Guardian Australia the Courier Mail’s staff photographers were summoned to a meeting at 11am Queensland time and told they were offering redundancies . Sixteen photography positions were made redundant nationally.
