'It didn't hurt at all': Queen urges people to get COVID-19 vaccine
The Queen has encouraged those who are hesitant about getting the COVID-19 vaccine to "think about other people rather than themselves".
Her Majesty, who never talks about her own private health matters in public, endorsed the importance of the vaccination programme during a video call to those co-ordinating the operations across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Talking about her own experience of having the COVID jab in January, the Queen said: "Once you've had the vaccine you have a feeling of, you know, you're protected, which is I think very important.

Sturgeon denies accusations of a cover-up in handling allegations against Salmond
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has denied accusations of a cover-up in the handling of sexual harassment allegations against her predecessor, Alex Salmond.
During First Minister's Questions, she said those questioning her conduct were fuelling a "deluded conspiracy theory".
That was a reference to Mr Salmond's claim that he is the victim of a malicious and concerted effort to remove him from public life.
He will give evidence tomorrow in front of a parliamentary committee looking into Holyrood's handling of the allegations.

COVID-19: UK alert level downgraded
The UK's chief medical officers have revealed that the country's COVID-19 alert level has been downgraded, with the threat of the NHS being overwhelmed receding.
However, they warned against complacency stating that transmission rates, hospital pressures and deaths are "very high".
Moving from level five to four means that transmission is now "high or rising exponentially".

Pass or fail? Teachers in England will deliver the final exam grade for students
Teachers in England will be given the autonomy to grade students' GCSE and A-level exams rather than an algorithm this year.
The decision was made after the government was forced to abandon a controversial algorithm which was used to produce last year's marks.
However, there are fears that teacher-driven grades will lead to inconsistencies and high grade inflation across the board.
