The number of people who have died in the
UK after testing positive for coronavirus has risen to 42,589 – an increase of 128 over 24 hours.
The figures cover the period up to 5pm on Friday and do not include all deaths involving
Coronavirus across the UK.
Only those who had tested positive for Covid-19 are included, which means anyone who died with a suspected case would not be recorded.As of 9am 20 June, there have been 7,714,201 tests, with 230,550 tests on 19 June. 303,110 people have tested positive. As of 9am on Satuday, a total of 7,714,201 tests have been carried out. The number of people tested will be significantly lower as many people are tested more than once.
