You can always trust your kids to show you up on live telly, even very, very small ones – something new parents Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas have just learned.
The couple made an appearance on Good Morning
Britain on Wednesday to discuss Ryan’s ITV travel series with his dad and two brothers.
But when the proud parents showed off their 10-week-old son to the cameras, it seems little Roman had wanted to give host Lorraine Kelly an extra special present. Former Coronation Street star Ryan lifted the baby up to reveal there had been an almighty nappy
explosion all over his white baby grow.
Speaking to Lorraine, Ryan said: “He’s got his best outfit today, and just for you on camera – pooped himself.”Well baby Roman's first appearance on live TV was certainly memorable... 😳😂@ryanjamesthomas | @lucy_meckpic.twitter.com/fuEUyb1pmg— Good Morning Britain (@GMB) May 20, 2020“Well that’s what they do! And it’s fine, and he’s allowed” Lorraine said.
Ryan and Lucy welcomed their first child together just before the
UK entered lockdown, and the former Only Way Is Essex star admitted it had been “really rough” not having the support of family and
Friends.
Roman is Lucy’s first child, while Ryan has a daughter, Scarlett, with former Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien, who plays Sarah Platt.
