If you’re anything like us, you’ll currently be spending your Saturday evenings glued to the TV, shouting random names at the screen and frantically Googling things in a bid to find out the identities of the random celebrities performing in disguise on The Masked Singer.
Now onto its fourth episode, three celebrities have already been unmasked, with speculation rife about the remaining eight, and a few stars have even spoken out to insist they’re not part of the show.
However, in a new interview with The Sun, Masked
Singer presenter Joel Dommett has admitted that one or two of those who have ruled themselves out are not being entirely truthful.
“Last Saturday, I saw someone who is on the show saying it wasn’t them,” he revealed. “Which is interesting.”Joel added that it’s worth sticking with The Masked Singer for the finale alone, in which the last of the stars is unmasked.
He claimed: “The final episode is going to be a mad one. There’s three reveals and nobody is getting near to guessing them. It’s going to be epic.”
So far, among the stars who have insisted they’re not part of the show are Charlotte Church and Peter Crouch, who fans suggested were behind the guises of
Queen Bee and Tree, respectively. Meanwhile, Pussycat Dolls performer Ashley Roberts and Dancing On Ice judge John Barrowman were both tight-lipped when asked whether they were secretly performing as Octopus and Unicorn.
Grilled by her Heart breakfast co-presenters Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, Ashley teased: “I love a costume. I mean, you know I do like to have a little dress up… I think you need to watch the show and find out don’t you? Don’t you? Don’t you?”
