Despite having split up a full 15 years ago,
Brad Pitt and
Jennifer Aniston are a couple people are still obsessed with, as he discovered on the red carpet of this year’s Golden Globes.
Following his performance in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Brad bagged his first
Golden Globes acting nomination in 12 years, and during the ceremony, found out he’d landed his first win since 1996.
However, speaking to Entertainment Tonight on his way into the event, Brad was reminded that the media is still as interested in his personal life as his efforts on the big screen.
When reporter Kevin Frazier suggested “the world, the internet” was “hoping for this moment where you and Jennifer run into each other, so [they] can take [your] picture”.Brad was unfazed by the question, referring to his ex-wife as his “good friend” who he was sure he’d “run into” over the course of the evening.
“The second most important reunion of her year? I understand,” Brad added, referring to the much-rumoured
Friends reunion.
Jennifer was also at the Golden Globes after earning a nomination in the Best
Actress In A TV Drama category, following her performance in the
Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. She was nominated alongside co-star Reese Witherspoon, but both lost out to Olivia Colman, for her portrayal of
Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown.
