Singer-songwriter Halsey has jumped to Miley Cyrus’ defence after someone on
Twitter appeared to blame the star’s sexuality for her recent split from husband Liam Hemsworth.
Halsey was responding to one man on Twitter, who wrote that the break-up “confirms that you shouldn’t date bi people” while also suggesting the singer “cheated on Liam with a woman”, despite this having not been reported anywhere to be the case.“Doesn’t surprise me that ur saying this and ur page has u crying about Brie Larson too!”
the star – who is also bisexual – wrote, alluding to the fact certain men took issue with Brie’s leading role in
Captain Marvel earlier this year.

Miley and Liam confirmed their split over the weekend, after less than a year of marriage.

“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
