Finalists in the Humber Renewables Awards 2024 are today revealed. Judges have assessed nominations, forming the shortlist of businesses, organisations and individuals vying for the honours. They will be presented at the gala dinner event, once again the finale to the Offshore Wind Connections conference and exhibition, in Hull, on May 2. Pentagon Marine; Sheena McGuinness, head of renewables and cleantech at financial consultancy giant RSM

READ MORE: More Humber business news Mr Butterworth, in his first year at the helm of HMR, organiser of Offshore Wind Connections, said: “It was a pleasure to be involved having thoroughly enjoyed the event as an onlooker in previous years. It was incredibly difficult to reach decisions in some categories, there were big debates with strong opinions put forward over who should get the awards.” Mrs Carlbom Flinn, a fellow HMR director, who recently oversaw the acquisition of her fourth generation Carlbom Shipping business by the London-based entity she is now part of, has been part of the panel for several years. She said: “It is always very encouraging to read through all the entries that showcase what an incredible selection of companies we have supporting the renewables industry in the Humber.
