Vladimir Guerrero Jr. celebrated a home run against the Yankees on Saturday, and Yankees fans were not happy about it. After every one of Guerrero’s home runs, he shushes the crowd while rounding third base, he said. And even though his home run brought the Blue Jays within six runs in the seventh inning, Guerrero didn’t change up his celebration. Toronto rally that almost ended up stealing the game from the Yankees. Toronto added two more runs in the seventh, off a Daniel Vogelbach double and Ernie Clement sacrifice fly. Heading into the ninth, the Yankees had a 9-5 lead, but the Jays cut into that, scoring three runs. They had the game-tying run at first base, but Clay Holmes struck out George Springer on three pitches to secure the win for the Yankees. Guerrero went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in the Blue Jays’ 8-3 loss to the Yankees on Sunday.
