Antiques Roadshow expert, Marc Allum was bemused by the appearance of a giant guitar on the latest episode to air on
BBC One. The expert, who deals with anything classed as being miscellaneous, Marc was confronted with the almost 10ft instrument and said it was "one of the most surreal" valuations he'd ever filmed on the long-running Sunday night TV show. Staring up at the guitar he told the gathered crowd: "This has got to be one of the most surreal objects I've ever filmed on Antiques Roadshow. I can safely say I've never seen a guitar of this size before." The guitar's owner said he bought it at auction after seeing it covered in dust and added: "I just buy random items and I just thought it looks different." Liverpool location, the owner cooly replied: "Yeh, ok." Thanking the owner for bringing it in, Marc acknowledged the "huge" effort it took to get the item to Sefton Park. While those on the episode, which originally aired back last year, were impressed, those at home had more pressing questions, one wrote: "How did the man manage to get the giant guitar in his car?"
