HEIGHT: 6'5" WEIGHT: 314 HAND: 10¾" ARM: 34" WINGSPAN: 82⅝" 40-YARD DASH: 5.15 3-CONE: 7.73 SHUTTLE: 4.96 VERTICAL: 31" BROAD: 9'8" POSITIVES — Loose, balanced mover with good length and big hands. — Impressive blend of burst, patience and weight distribution in his pass sets. — Able to get out of compromising positions to regain his balance and anchor at the top of the QB's drop. — Plays long and can keep defenders at his fingertips. — Negotiates combo blocks well to time his releases before intersecting 'backers on climbs and screens. — Has good body control as a run-blocker to stay attached and steer against shed attempts. — Noticeable jump in his development and consistency from the 2022 to 2023 seasons. NEGATIVES — Will overcommit and two-hand strike against upfield, high-side speed rushes, which leaves him susceptible to the inside spin. — Loses juice and power after decent initial jolt at the point of attack due to a narrow base and elevated pads. 2023 STATISTICS — 13 starts at right tackle NOTES — Born April 18, 2000 — 4-star recruit from the 2019 class, per 247Sports — Competed in the shot put and discus, winning the state title in the shot put during the 2015 indoor season — 40 career starts at right tackle — Participated in the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl OVERALL Caedan Wallace is a four-year starter inside Penn State's balanced (54-46 run-pass split), zone-based scheme with 40 career starts at right tackle, including 13 during the 2023 season. Wallace has a well-rounded, evenly dispersed build with good arm length, big hands, good athletic ability and solid play strength. Wallace wins on angle-drive and base blocks with good initial quickness to get into his fits with a strong base before working to press and laterally displace his target. He shows good body control to adjust mid-rep and steer the defender away from the ball. Wallace excels navigating screens and combo blocks to the second level with light feet, burst and timing to intersect targets. While Wallace is effective in the first phase of drive blocks and tracking smaller targets, his power tends to fizzle out after the initial jolt due to his base narrowing and pads rising, halting movement in the process. In pass protection, Wallace is a loose, twitchy mover with a timely punch, good balance and flashes of excellent body positioning and patience. He does a very good
Job maximizing his length, playing long and keeping defenders at his fingertips once engaged. Wallace will open his hips early against the threat of speed on high-side rushes at tackle, which invites inside counters. That calls into question his ability to stick at tackle in the NFL. Overall, Wallace is an older prospect, but he's coming off a year where he made a sizable leap in consistency. That suggests he has more room for development than most four-year starters typically offer. With good athletic ability, body control and fluid movement skills along with an understanding of how to play long and maximize his length, Wallace has what it takes to compete for a role right away at tackle or possibly guard, and he has upside as a spot starter within his first contract.
