Meghan Markle is thought to be ‘preventing’ Harry from accepting an ‘olive branch’ from Kate and William, a royal expert has claimed.

Meghan Markle .. The Duke and
Duchess of Sussex have a strained relationship with the
Royal Family and they are currently estranged from the Prince and Princess of Wales . Now royal author and expert Tom Quinn has claimed William and Kate have tried to fix the relationship, but Meghan is not quite ready to let things go. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror , Quinn said: "There has been a shift here since Kate’s illness – Harry and Meghan do feel they need to extend an olive branch, but Meghan’s sense of grievance is still preventing anything really meaningful happening. Kensington Palace that Kate’s illness might do it. “Harry would like a reconciliation, but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologised for the past - it’s not going to happen.” Just days ago, Quinn revealed the lengths Prince William and Kate were allegedly willing to go to mend their relationship with the Sussexes. He claims the couple have reached out to Meghan and Harry and urged them to bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the
UK to visit. However, Quinn claimed Meghan has refused. Tom told us: "There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK. William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far." Meghan and Harry are not close with William and Kate after the Sussexes hit out at their family members in their
Netflix docuseries, as well as their bombshell interview with
Oprah Winfrey. Harry also made a number of accusations about his brother and sister-in-law in his debut memoir Spare. In the book, the
Duke of Sussex opened up about an explosive row he had with William, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly called Harry's wife Meghan "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive". Harry claims his brother then "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor". The Mirror has contacted Harry and Meghan's representatives for comment.
