Jeff Bezos has added a third mansion to his real estate portfolio on the same island. The
Amazon founder shelled out close to $90 million (about £70 million) on a mansion on Indian Creek island near Miami,
Florida in an off-the-market transaction. The six-bedroom estate is his third property that he owns on the exclusive island that's known as Billionaire's Bunker. Property records show that this house was last sold in 1998 for a paltry $2.5million (about £2 million) and previously owned by former banker Javier Holtz. Sources say that Bezos, 60, will live in this mansion while he tears down his other two properties in the neighbourhood. For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the

It has a Spanish style roof and is painted a yellow colour. For the other two homes, Bezos allegedly paid $147million total (about £116 million). The wealthy island is also home to residencies owned by former New
England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Carl Ichan, and
Jared Kushner and
Ivanka Trump. Besides owning these Florida estates, Bezos owns a house in Washington, Maui, and Beverly Hills. The latter of which he brought for $165 million (about £130 million) in 2020. He also owns property in
Washington and Beverly Hills ( Image: MEGA) While the average person would be gobsmacked at these prices, Bezos is the second richest person in the world , worth around $203.7 billion (about £160 billion). He announced last November that he and his fiancee Lauren Sanchez will be moving to Florida as their permanent residence from Washington. His ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, meanwhile hasn't been buying her share of real estate. Instead she's been donating large amounts of her fortune to non-profits and charities. She revealed that she's donating $640 million (£503 million) to over 360 small organizations who applied to an open call she held last year. Since she divorced Bezos five years ago, MacKenzie has donated $16.5 billion (£13 billion) to non-profits. She still is the fourth richest woman in the world, according to Forbes Magazine.
