Taylor Swift has taught Travis Kelce a lot of lessons about hosting a major
music event, as the tight end looks to make bigger and better than the first festival he held in 2023. Event organizers that artists Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2Chainz would perform at Kelce Jam next month, with the star excited to celebrate with his fans again in Kansas City. Just like he did in 2023, is expected to appear on stage throughout the festival, but he's accepted he will never be like his girlfriend . He's happy about that though, as he told : "Don't try and be Taylor, that's what I learned. Yeah, she's on a whole other stratosphere. She's the best at what she does for a reason. That's the beauty of it. I'd be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does, other than just enjoy the people that show up." Swift is not expected to attend the festival as she is scheduled to perform in Stockholm,
Sweden on the same date. Kelce Jam 2024 will take place on May 18 at the Azura Amphitheater, Kansas City, with organizers expecting a mass increase from the 20,000 tickets they sold last year. Kelce is a natural in front of big crowds and has seen his popularity grow since he started dating Swift last year. Although he doesn't envy his other half for the world she operates in, he has also taken some lessons about how to interact with a crowd. "She really relates to the people she's performing in front of, and so I'll take that," he explained. Kelce may have only hosted one major festival himself, but he's attended several Swift's shows since their relationship became public and understood what it takes to involve the fans. Kelce first saw Swift perform in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, and after the Chiefs won the
Super Bowl he flew out to Australia and
Singapore to continue his support of her "Eras Tour". But it's time for Kelce to play the main character again, alongside his headline acts. Last year Machine Gun Kelly and Rick Ross headlined at Kelce Jam, and the Chiefs star is excited to see what next month will bring. "It was such a blast that I had to do it again this year. I'm so excited," Kelce added. "It's going to be so much fun and I cannot wait to get back out and celebrate with KC, man." start at $50, with prices rising to $250 for those wanting a VIP experience at the festival. Kelce has urged fans who wish to attend the event to sign up for the presale ticket release, as it could be a fast sell-out. Presale starts on April 5, while those who have Cash App will be able to access tickets 24 hours in advance. The venue is 15 minutes from the Kansas City center or 30 minutes from the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.
