Many people tend to bring an inspiration photo along to their hair salon appointment in order to help their stylist figure out what they want done that day. Images of celebrities, influencers and other famous people tend to be common choices to show your hairdresser what you want done to your hair. Whether its a quick trim or a complete switch-up, it does help to show what you'd like to look like by the end of the appointment, reports the Mirror . One hair expert has revealed that while they do love to see what ideas you have, there is one particular thing that makes every stylist sigh inwardly. Women, bring in celebrity red carpet photos that my mum would try to explain they need a lot of maintenance and styling daily to maintain that specific look. "I would hear over and over again 'I can do that but it's styled to look that way so the second it falls out or you wear a bun that look goes away' they would always say 'yes, I know I want it anyways'. So many Reese Witherspoon and Olsen twins photos. This is really not that bad, but its gets better." A lot of hairdressers deal with picky customers on the daily (Image: Getty) The Reddit poster also saw "two meltdowns" that she saw in her parents' clients when it came to styling and dying their hair. The post continued: "The two meltdowns I saw were one lady who demanded my mum work late to refoil, literally, one foil. Like one tiny section of hair this woman wanted refoiled, plus she threw a fuss demanding free styling to make up for the one obsessive spot to foil that looked perfectly fine. "My mom tried to explain to her that if she foiled that spot anymore it would have breakage and tiny hairs would be sticking straight up, but she kept demanding, got the free styling (which I suspect is only what she really wanted) and what do you know tiny little hairs sticking up from breakage!" My mum delicately warned her it would be a very big change so brace for that, and it might be taken as carrot top hair if the change is not well received. "What do you know? The lady started screaming and crying she looked like ugly carrot top!! My mother then spent hours and hours on corrective colouring, which is twice as expensive and so so many hours longer FOR NO PAY. Corrective colouring because the 'customer is always right' is such a bite in the a** for cosmetologists." Reddit users who read the post said that they could not believe the 'ignorance' of some hair customers. One person in particular said: "So basically, customer ignorance is the main pet peeve lol. Sounds reasonably frustrating." Join the Daily Record
