Instagram as she wrote: "Just a little message to say hi. Thank you once more for all your kindness. Took some time off to reflect, recharge and restore which I'm still very much doing but I'll need to be back online for work purposes especially. "Thanks to the brands who I work with who have respected my boundaries and shown compassion and love during the past year. Haven't felt myself for a long time, and I've realised I had kind of lost myself and for a while didn't know who I was beyond being defined by ex relationships or TV shows, and that needs to change! "I'm so excited for all the growth and full healing. CBB was the final lightbulb moment to make me realise what needs to be done. Embracing the fresh start to a new month and new era... Social Media following her Celebrity Big Brother stint and a car-crash interview on Late and Live, which lead to several Ofcom complaints. The spin-off show was hit with 139 complaints over the treatment of the former Love Island winner following her eviction. The TV personality was grilled by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best over her row with housemate Marisha Wallace , following the latter's decision to nominate her. Addressing Ekin-Su's meltdown after Marisha nominated her, guest Layton Williams , said: "She had to pick someone just like you picked Louis. Louis squashed it and kind of kept it moving and unfortunately, you dragged it on." Ekin hit back: "You haven't seen everything, they cut stuff out," to which Layton quipped: "You're not going to blame it on the edit. One thing you're not going to do is blame it on the edit. We see what we see and it's a shame." Hours before the live final, Ekin-Su officially withdrew from the ITV show. Addressing her absence, she wrote on her Instagram Story: "I know it's unlike me to hide away, but I've been taking some time to reflect. "Sometimes in our lowest moments, we learn the most important lessons about ourselves. I hope you don't think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night. "I'm fully aware that not everyone will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, BUT it was the right decision for me." Ekin-Su explained she wanted to avoid a "potentially uncomfortable situation" and was "proud" of herself for recognising that she needed time away from the spotlight. She added: "Accountability is key and when I'm ready, I will give some context around these past few weeks."
