Thanks to its deep library of timeless classics from the Disney channel and burgeoning TV series featuring selections from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars Universe, High School Musical, Disney Originals, National Geographic, and more, has one of the more robust offerings on streaming services. Thanks to its massive cast of iconic characters that expands beyond just the eponymous family, is practically a time capsule of the past 30 years as the citizens of Springfield spent season after season routinely lambasting everything from pop culture to political scandals. In this Marvel series that originally premiered on Netflix, Matt finds himself on a collision course with the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) who’s been ruling Hell’s Kitchen with an iron fist and has no intentions of letting go. Along the way, Matt is forced to confront his past life thanks to a pending ninja apocalypse and he even butt heads with The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) who has more extreme methods of cleaning up the streets. With Professor X gone, the mutant’s home is now in the hands of the X-Men’s most powerful foe: Magneto. Will he mend his ways or revert back to waging war on humanity at all costs? 17. 2021 David Harbour, Karen Fukuhara, Simu Liu, Alison Brie, Temuera Morrison Science Fiction, Anime, Animated, Action-Adventure TV-PG 2 seasons Lucasfilm Animation The galaxy gets a bold, creative new take in this animated anthology series. The show centers on a group of medieval living gargoyles who are dragged into the modern world by a duplicitous billionaire who has plans of his own for the magical warrior. Starring Keith David as Goliath, is a badass punch in the face that you’ll never believe aired between episodes of and . Complicating matters is the fact that Thrawn disappeared nearly a decade ago alongside the young Jedi Ezra Bridger. With Ahsoka’s former pupil and Ezra’s close friend Sabine Wren in the mix, the mission quickly gets personal as the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance. 21. 2023 Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry Family, Comedy, Musical TV-PG 10 episodes Bill Baretta, Adam F. Goldberg, Jeff Yorkes In , a driven young exec named Nora is convinced that the classic Muppets band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, is the key to saving her dying record label. However, Nora quickly discovers that the groovy, laid back style of the decades-old band doesn’t exactly jibe with the modern music scene, which becomes clear thanks to several hilarious encounters with today’s biggest stars like Chris Stapleton and Lil Nas X. Despite numerous challenges, Nora digs in and refuses to settle for anything less than making the Electric Mayhem go platinum. 22. 2021 Hayley Atwell, Jeffrey Wright, Basically Every MCU Actor Animation, Action, Adventure TV-14 9 episodes A.C. Bradley Before the multiverse began rearing its head in the films, there was Like the comic book series of the same name, this wildly inventive animated series shows what might happen to some of Marvel’s most beloved heroes if there was some changes to their origin stories. For example, what if Peggy Carter took the Super-Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers? Or what if Black Panther was accidentally kidnapped by Yondu and became Star-Lord? Anchored by Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher, this alternate reality series pulled a major casting coup by getting nearly every actor to reprise their roles from the films for this surprisingly fun and twisty romp through the MCU. 23. 2024 Alaqua Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Chaske Spencer, Charlie Cox Action/Drama TV-MA 5 episodes Disney+’s first TV-MA series lives up to the label. And if you are looking forward to Charlie Cox’s standalone show, then you will definitely want to tune in for his cameo opposite Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez. Once you are on the scene, then you will hopefully want to keep watching this origin story, which is unlike any recent Disney+ show in recent memory. Unfortunately, there’s plenty of MCU (and DCEU) burnout of late, but this show should hang on for another weekend because the entire season is available for binging. 24. 2022 Bonnie Hunt, Leah Latham, Alan Tudyk, Maurice LaMarche Family, Anthology, Comedy, Animation TV-PG 6 episodes In this series of shorts, takes viewers back to the animal-filled world of the hit Disney movie and catches up with some old and new characters as they go about their lives. (And, yes, Flash the sloth is along for the ride.) Using the same animation style as the movie, is a fun-filled return to the animal city, and fans of Judy Hopps will love to see how the beloved rabbit police woman continues to affect the lives of everyone around her. There he becomes part of a rag-tag group of freedom fighters, who will become part of the burgeoning Rebel Alliance struggling to defeat the Galactic Empire. Along the way, Ezra will learn the ways of the Force and cross path with well-known characters. Thanks to , and the upcoming spinoff , has become required viewing to get the most out of the live-action universe unfolding on Disney+. TIE: 25. 2021 Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, Pedro Pascal Sci-Fi, Action, Adventure TV-14 7 episodes Jon Favreau In this first spinoff from , Temuera Morrison plays the titular Star Wars badass as he shifts his focus from being the galaxy’s most-feared bounty hunter to becoming its newest crime boss. With fellow bounty hunter Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) at his side, Boba Fett easily assumes the late Jabba the Hutt’s throne. But what’s not so easy is the encroaching Pyke Syndicate, who are ready to unleash all-out war on the streets of Tatooine. Enlisting the aid of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Boba Fett hunkers down for an epic brawl that will make or break his burgeoning empire.
