Giovanni Pernice has become known as a serious contender on
Strictly Come Dancing since joining in 2015, and its not just his partners on the
BBC show that have been of interest – there has been plenty of speculation about his dating life too. Around his busy work schedule, which also includes filming a travel show with judge Anton Du Beke , he’s managed to fit in a few romances. As he continues on a search for ‘The One’, the 33-year-old admits that even his mum is keen for him to settle down. ‘My mum always says to me, “So what is the situation?” You know, because obviously, every time I date a girl I always tell her and ask “What do you think about this?” ‘Bless her, she saw so many passing by and she asks “Is she the one?” and she says “You know I want a baby before I pass away”.’ Right now Giovanni is making his career the main priority, but can find himself feeling lonely while single. ‘I do get lonely sometimes, there’s no one to share it with.
