Alison Hammond has hit back at a cruel troll who sent her a message on
Social Media after her Celebrity Bake Off appearance on Sunday night. The This Morning presenter, 49, took to X after one viewer baselessly called her a ‘nasty piece of work’ and she was flooded with support from her followers for calling the troll out. The Bake Off viewer tagged Alison and wrote: ‘I imagine@AlisonHammond is a real nasty piece of work now, started to beleive her own hype.’ Publicly replying to the post, Alison called the accusation ‘nasty’ and urged the social media user to be kind. A day after the post was published, Alison replied and wrote: ‘Why is that I’ll be having a lovely day and then someone who doesn’t know from Adam writes such nasty message. ‘Don’t @ me keep Your nasty comment to yourself #bekind always.’ Fans made it their mission to comfort Alison, as @tv_gooner took to the post and wrote: ‘I’m so sorry Alison. Keep being the amazing and kind person you are. You’re lovely as you are xx’ User @that Robster agreed and wrote: ‘Surely they tagged the wrong account because absolutely no one thinks that!!! You just spread joy.’ ‘We love you Alison bab, keep shining
Queen,’ wrote @sophierhi13 while @darylshaw29 added: ‘Don’t think you have a bad bone in your body ! Most loveable person ever. Keep being you, you absolute Queen.’ One fan @woodenyoulove summed up the outpouring of love and commented: ‘The comments speak for itself Alison. I think you are fab! xx’ This is not the first time Alison has had to content with online trolls.
