Ronan Keating has taken a swipe at Louis Walsh, revealing that the former X Factor judge was 'showing his true colours' on Celebrity Big Brother . Louis hasn't shied away from sharing his brutal opinion on well-known performers, many of whom he had taken under his wings as a
music manager, including Ronan. The 71-year-old managed him when he had been a member of Boyzone - but the pair had parted ways once the
Singer left the group and embarked on a solo career. In a recent scene on the show, Louis revealed what it had been like working with Ronan and shockingly branded him a 'p***k' while chatting with pal Sharon Osbourne. The comment came after the celebrity housemates were treated to some music and Ronan's solo single Life Is A Rollercoaster started playing. He said: "He was such a p***k. Everybody thinks he's a lovely guy, do you know what I mean? He hasn't had a hit record since I left. He sacked me." Responding to the remark, Ronan stated that, unlike Louis, he has "never been one to air my dirty laundry in public." Speaking on Patrick Kielty on The Late
Late Show, he said: "I've never been one to air my dirty laundry in public, especially when it comes to Louis and myself. He does a very good
Job of that and I think he’s showing his true colours in there and I’ll leave him be." Ronan says Louis was 'showing his true colours' on CBB ( Image: RTE One) The 47-year-old went on to recall his first audition with Boyzone, saying: "The next day I went to work and I was working in a shoe shop in
Dublin and I thought I was God’s gift, after that first one I thought we could do no wrong. Little did we know in the weeks that followed after that the video would appear in more and more places, and people were laughing at us actually rather than applauding us.'" It isn't the first time that Louis has publicly criticised Ronan, as he previously called him "talentless and spoiled." In an interview with Q Magazine in 2012, he said: "His head got turned by having nice hotels and chauffeur-driven cars, and he thought he could write songs. If you're Ronan Keating , who was working in a shoe shop when I discovered him, but end [up] thinking you're George Michael, then you need to be stopped." However, the singer hit back and said: "[Louis] was very important to me as a mentor and I'm grateful for the opportunities he gave me, because I wouldn't be here without them. But there's only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected." He was the second person voted out of the Big Brother house that night, following Fern Britton 's departure just minutes earlier in the episode. Following his departure, Louis was interviewed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best who asked about his experience on the show. The evicted housemate revealed that he was "glad" to have been voted out. He told the presenters: "I'm so glad to be out." He suggested that he was "relived" and further commented earlier: I was hoping I would be first [out]." Follow Mirror Cele bs on TikTok , Snapchat ,
