Louis Walsh turned on fellow housemate Fern Britton in his latest outburst in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The 71-year-old former X Factor judge has been scathing about a whole string of fellow celebrities over the past three weeks while living under 24 hour surveillance in the reality show house. But his cutting observations hit particularly personally in scenes that aired on Tuesday night as he lashed out at 66-year-old presenting legend Fern. Earlier in the week, Louis had been nominated for an immediate eviction when Fern was tasked with placing a rubber snake on his pillow. However, he was instead granted immunity from Big Brother in a shocking St Patrick’s Day twist. Louis was not, however, pleased when he realised someone in the house had voted to have him ousted. Fern struggled with the guilt of nominating Louis and was thrilled when Big Brother said she could tell the house that she was the housemate that was tasked with placing the snake in Louis’s bed. She gathered the housemates around to tell them the truth and felt relived when Louis offered her forgiveness and she received comfort from the other housemates. Sitting in the famous large chair, Louis sounded off about his fellow housemate to brand her “conniving” and an “actress”. Letting off steam, the Irishman said: “I never suspected Fern. She’s very conniving. She knows what she wants and she’s going to get it. She’s been around 100 years so she knows the politics of getting what she wants. And she wanted rid of me.” Not holding back, Louis added: “She’s a fantastic actress! She could cry like that. You know?” His brutal comments divided viewers - with some thinking he was bang on the money, and others arguing he was himself coming across as two faced. Louis told Fern he forgave her - and then unleashed about her in the diary room ( Image: ITV) Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Louis is spot on about Fern……turns the tears on with ease #CBBUK." While others were left concerned that Fern has been showing signs of fatigue as Celebrity Big Brother enters its final days. After she clashed with Nikita Kuzmin , 26, after he appeared to make ageist comments about her, one fan wrote: "I think Fern is spiralling a little bit this episode, she has absolutely imagined malice in this conversation with Nikita, the killer nomination of Louis has clearly worn her down. It’s time for her to go I feel… #CBBUK." During his time in the house, Louis has made comments about a string of other celebs - often painting them in a negative light.
